The Of Pools and People team is organizing special session at the 100th anniversary meeting for the Ecological Society of America in August 2015. The session is entitled “Environmental problem-solving in coupled natural and human systems: ecological research at the frontier of global change”. The session will feature talks from teams of researchers throughout the globe focusing on tackling environmental problems by bringing together stakeholders and researchers from both the natural and social sciences.
